Undeliverable Packages
This is very uncommon, but does occur. When a carrier returns an undeliverable package to DiscountCoffee.com, we will contact the “Bill To” Customer. We will offer to re-ship the package, but the customer will be responsible for the new shipping fees and the return fees incurred. If the customers request a refund, the refund will be less the actual shipping cost and the incurred return shipping fees. If the package is returned to us after the 30 day refund period, a refund is not allowed.
Most Common Causes for Undeliverable Packages
Incorrect “Ship To” address entered on order
PO Box entered for a UPS delivery

Failed Delivery Attempts; No one there to accept package
Refused by Recipient
Incorrect Address - If the address is incorrect, UPS will attempt to correct the address. If UPS can find the correct address, they will continue with the delivery. There will be a $20.00 Address correction fee charged back to the customer in this event. Delivery dates will be delayed in the event of an incorrect address.
If a Military Address or International Address is incorrect, the package is returned to us. This will put your items after the refund period and these orders can not be refunded. The order can be reshipped at the customers’ expense and agreement to pay any return fees.
To remove an outdated or incorrect address from your account, please log into “Your Account” Here you can update your information.
UPS and PO Boxes – UPS can not make deliveries to a Post Office Box. Please do not enter a Post Office Box as an address when using UPS. If you choose not to have items delivered to your home, you can have them delivered to your place of employment, your neighbor, etc. so long as this is acceptable to the recipients.

Failed Delivery Attempts – UPS will make three attempts to deliver your package. Packages that contain more than $400 of merchandise will require a signature. All packages to a Company will require a signature. Signature requirements for a home delivery are at the discretion of the UPS Driver. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after 3 attempts, the package will be returned to us. UPS will leave a posted note on the business or home owners door letting them know of the attempted delivery and providing them with a phone number to contact them to arrange delivery.
Refused by Recipient - In the event an order is refused by the recipient, the package will be returned to us. The Purchaser will incur the added fees of the return and any added fees to reship the order. It is the customer’s responsibility to let the appropriate people know of the delivery in order to avoid this type of a return. If you are sending your order as a gift, you may want to let the recipient know that there is a surprise on the way, so they do not refuse the delivery.
